Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the customer) and TidyupCo (“we,” “us,” “our”), a cleaning service operating in Newmarket, Ontario and across York Region.

By booking a service with TidyupCo, you agree to these terms.

2. Payment Terms

• Full payment is due no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of service, unless other arrangements have been confirmed in writing in advance.
• For jobs over $300 — including but not limited to move-out, post-construction, and commercial bookings — a non-refundable deposit of 35% is required at the time of booking to confirm the appointment.
• Accepted payment methods: cash and e-transfer.
• TidyupCo reserves the right to decline or delay service if payment has not been received as outlined above.

3. Late or Non-Payment

• Invoices not paid within 7 days of service completion are considered overdue.
• TidyupCo reserves the right to charge a late payment fee of 2% per month on overdue balances, disclosed clearly at the time of booking.
• Unresolved overdue balances may be referred to Ontario Small Claims Court (monetary jurisdiction up to $50,000, exclusive of interest and costs) or a collections agency at TidyupCo’s discretion.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment.
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
• TidyupCo reserves the right to reschedule due to emergency or unforeseen circumstances, with reasonable notice provided to the client.

5. Service Guarantee

• TidyupCo stands behind a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the quality of the clean, you must notify TidyupCo within 24 hours of service completion and we will return to address any missed areas at no additional charge.
• The guarantee does not apply to pre-existing conditions, damage, or areas not included in the original service scope.

6. Limitation of Liability

TidyupCo’s total liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the cost of that service. TidyupCo is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

7. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
